Jean
Shinoda Bolen, MD, presented a talk entitled: The Invisible
Power of the Feminine Principle that gave us an overview of
how we can seed the future by creating circles and building
collaborative networks.
Jean is a psychiatrist and well-known author of many books
including: The Millionth Circle, The Tao of Psychology, Goddesses
in Everywoman, Gods in Everyman, Ring of Power, Crossing to
Avalon, Close to the Bone and her most recent book, Crones
Don't Whine.
Carol
Lee Flinders, who holds a PhD in comparative Literature,
is a well-known speaker and teacher. She is the author of
many books including Enduring Grace, At
the Root of this Longing, The Value of Belonging,
and is the co-author of the million-copy bestselling Laurel's
Kitchen. She has taught writing and mystical literature
courses at the University of California Berkeley.
Carol's presentation was entitled: Holding Water, Holding
Fire. It helped us take a fresh look at gender relationships,
moving away from the dichotomy of male as oppressor and female
as victim.
Carol
Lynn Pearson is an author, poet, speaker and performer.
Her poems have been widely reprinted in Ann Landers' column,Chicken
Soup for the Soul and college literary textbooks. Her one-woman
play,"Mother Wove the Morning,"
in which she plays sixteen women throughout history in search
of the feminine divine, has been performed over 300 times
internationally. It is now available on a videotape that earned
an award from "Booklist" as "one of the top
25 videos of the year."
She performed selections from Mother Wove the Morning.
Elisabet
Sahtouris, Ph.D, is an evolution biologist, futurist,
author, speaker and consultant on Living Systems Design. She
has taught at the University of Massachusetts, M.I.T. and
was a science writer for the NOVA/ HORIZON TV series. Her
vision is the sustainable health and well-being of humanity
within the larger living systems of Earth and Cosmos.
In her presentation entitled, Crisis as Opportunity: An Evolutionary
Leap for Humanity she shared her insights on why the time
is now that women need to step into their power. Her books
include: Biology Revisioned. A Walk Through Time: From Stardust
to Us, and EarthDance: Living Systems in Evolution. Sahtouris.com

Lynne
Twist is an author, a lecturer and a consultant to
not-for-profit organizations. Her presentation, The Soul of
Money, is also the title of her newly released book.
In her talk she shared how raising money is about relationships
and gave examples and insights through powerful and inspiring
stories.
