Millionth Circle Gathering (October 20, 2003 in Oakland,
CA)

Following GTW Congress an all day circle was held at Joan
Kenley's home in Oakland, Ca. It was an international gathering
with Clare Peterson, Jessica Miranti, Betty Ann Smith, Anne
Caldwell from Canada, Elinore Detiger from Iona, Binnie Degli
Innocenti from Italy, Clare Campbell of Wales and numbers
of us from the USA. It was an opportunity to reflect on the
experiences of GTW and to discuss the plans and connections
for upcoming events. Clare Campbell talked of her plans to
hold circles in Greece this summer. MC will be presenting
at The Parliament of Worlds Religions meeting in Barcelona
in August of 2004. The women from MC Canada talked about how
they are meeting and organizing. They will be leading the
way with the plans for Beijing Plus in Brazil in 2007. Plans
for an updated web site were discussed. A warm sharing and
deepening was experienced in the glow of Millionth Circle's
participation in GTW.
