Boulder, Colorado Gathering

Submitted by: Sarah Hartzell of Circles of Ten

In Boulder, we started with potluck dinner and networking. Then we moved into a beautifully prepared ritual space for dance and music and singing. When we sat in circle we asked all to reflect on our wishes for ourselves and for the women of the world. We wrote them on 3x5 cards then spoke them aloud as we tucked them into a beautiful origami globe, made of papers that have flowers and trees and moons and hills. The globe went around the circle a second time as we wished for each other, one woman to the next...it was quite awesome. We're planning to share the globe through the year and take it to different events.

Following are the wishes that were placed in the globe:

  • True Health, overflowing compassion and complete peace for all.
    Lyna

  • I dream of a world where women joyfully inhabit their female bodies, knowing it is good and right to be a woman, where women satisfy all their hungers.
I wish for all women to value their intuition softness and grace as a force of creativity in this world.
    Parmita

  • Peace with ourselves. My dream is that the nurturing quality that women possess will find a path from the individual to each living thing that is touched by that woman. The sense of being nurtured and loved will spread like wildfire throughout the land, the sea and the universe. Then we will surely know peace.
    Susan Stephens

  • I am Kate, I wish for myself a deeper connection to the feminine nature, to humble myself to her, I wish to serve her resurrection on Earth and be shown the way. I wish for the women of the world safety, honor, and self nurturing. Pleasure in our bodies, joy in our hearts, and restful, clear minds. So be it!
My dream is the creation of a retreat space where women can discover and nourish their conscious femininity in body and soul.
    Nancy Burnett

  • My wish is that we have made a difference, already, NOW, in the present moment. And that the ripple of hope we and our matrilineal ancestors have created will continue to expand in numbers, strength and wisdom.
    Mariza

  • Women of the World - We pray for you and the part of you that is us. We give thanks for your courage and listen as we join together in our global and individual opening of the energy that gives life and brings love.
    Namaste Octavia

  • My deepest with is that we all realize we are all one. And that one's vibration is raised to facilitate the shift we are in. May this bring in and era of prosperity, health and peace for all.
    Cheryl Stegman

  • My Dream for Myself: To become the source of my own abundance in my life as I become again the healer I have been in many lifetimes....bringing connection to the earth thru music, dance, ritual alive to the world once again. For Women of the World: Union with one another and powerful reclaiming of our wisdom, intuition and kick ass beauty.
    Julie Anne Daugherty

  • My dream is for all the humans to disconnect from the electronic nightmare video television mass media disease machine and remember who we are, to prefer the green dripping moss-strewn meadow where the gentle eye of the deer watches us, re-learn the dance of awareness that can enable the mending of our strand of the web of life.
    Laurelyn Baker

  • The night I brought my first born home I was admiring him in his bassinet- swaddled, warm, fed, safe. I was suddenly overwhelmed with the thought that there are so many babies who were not swaddled, warm, fed and safe. I felt a penetrating pain for them and their mothers. I was tapping in to a primal connection- to protect all children, to be sure they are all safe, fed and warm. It came to that night and will always be with me.
    Diana Caile

  • Imagine, as John Lennon said, a world where all being are supported and encouraged to let our souls shine in every thought word and deed. No hunger, no thirst, no violence. This is my wish. Peace!
    Dakini

  • For myself and the women of the world I wish the courage to love across borders and differences.
    Sarah
