the following information about logistics and costs.
With excitement as we Gather the Women,
Anique Duc and the Australian Steering Committee

Accomodations
Accomodations are available in a range of prices and venues:
WOMEN'S COLLEGE DORMATORY
Student Dorm Accommodation will be available at The Women's College
- Sydney University - please go to: http://www.thewomenscollege.com.au/
CARLTON CREST SYDNEY
The Steering Circle will take a block of rooms at the Carlton Crest
Sydney, (which is very close to the venue and a 4 star hotel)
at the very attractive rate of $150/room. This is in Australian
dollars. If the room is shared by 2 sisters, the cost
will be $75 each/night. These rooms will go fast so early
booking is strongly advised. For more information about Carlton
Crest Sydney, visit their website
http://www.carltoncrest-sydney.com.au/?CFID=24559013&CFTOKEN=51169755
NOTE: To receive this special price, bookings must be made through
the Steering Circle by contacting Anique@herwill.net
OTHER HOTELS
Otherwise, we recommend any Sydney City hotel as Sydney
University is in Sydney City and any hotel is only a short taxi
ride. Buses are also plentiful. To find the perfect
hotel for you go to: http://www.yellowpages.com.au/
and follow the prompts and search for Sydney CBD as the location.
Air Travel
A note for consideration: Flights to Australia fill quickly
at this time of year, as it is the low season. It would
be wise to begin investigating flights to land in Sydney as soon
as possible.
Exciting Post-Congress Travel Options
- Great Barrier Reef Getaway
The Steering Committee is arranging
a four day "Getaway" for
sisters coming from overseas. This will be to the Great Barrier
Reef, one of the wonders of the world, staying in Cairns and taking
day trips to exciting locations nearby, including one full day
on the reef with snorkeling and lunch included. More details
available soon.
