The women of the world need your financial support!
6 Congresses on 6 Continents Launching in 2006 was
initiated by Gather the Women, a global community
of women committed to compassionate and collaborative leadership. Three Congresses
have been held: in Canada, Kenya, and Australia. Women in Europe and in India are currently planning Congresses, while we are holding an invitation for a circle of women to come forward in South America.
These six Gatherings have been and are being independently planned and
hosted by women leaders on each continent. They are an integral
step in building effective grassroot networks of women and
women's organizations on a global scale so that we can raise
our voices together on behalf of a better world.
You can direct your tax-deductible donation to a specific
continental Congress in one of three ways:

to provide scholarship funds which
will allow women from that region to travel to their Congress
(Even a small donation can provide bus fare for a woman
in India to travel from her village.)

to provide 'seed money' to the Congress planning
circles that they can use to cover logistical
costs. (Each Congress is completely self-sustaining --
the only fund GTW can provide for them are those you provide
here!)

to help pay for the extensive web services
provided to the 6 Congresses on 6 Continents by GTW.
Like every aspect of Gather the Women,
these Congresses have grown from vision into reality by following
the 'yes'....
Women stepped into leadership and said 'yes'
to anchoring each event. Other women joined them, bringing
their ideas, skills and resources.
In this way, the vision grew from a seed into a seedling
.... and continues to grow into complex and beautiful organic
expressions in six regions of the world.
