A Billion Women
Gather the Women envisions one billion women
participating in some way by 2006.
Some have said that this is impossible. Following is a simple
mathematical chart compiled by Christine Gregory of the original
Gather the Women Steering Committee that shows just how easy
it is to reach one billion women in just 19 days.
If only 3 women tell 3 women we have 9. If those 9 women
tell 3 women we have 27. If those 27 women tell 3 women we
have 81. If those 81 tell 3 women we have 243, etc. As you
can see by day 18 we have 1,162,261,467 women.
This is you opportiunty to be part of a powerful global transformation
-- all you have to do is tell three women. It is time
to Gather the Women!!
