Here we highlight the first International Gather the Women Congress "Weaving a World that Works" held October 17-19, 2003, at the Miyako Hotel in San Francisco, California, where 289 women from around the world attended. In Closing...
The following poem was inspired by connecting all the GTW Annual Event Themes.
Note about the design: A tree with strong roots backed by the sun was chosen to represent "substance" because without them, there would be no life on earth. The sun is also a symbol of a far-reaching "circle." Gather the Women Circles reach around the world.
