Event Topic: International Women's Day 2025: Accelerate Action for Women's Equality

In March 2025, Gather the Women Global Matrix invited participants to join in the celebration of International Women’s Day, focusing on Accelerating Action for Women’s Equality. Throughout the month, we highlighted women and organizations from around the world, who made a positive difference in the lives of women.

Each week in March, we sent two emails. The first spotlighted international women and their work in the world. The second offered ideas and prompts to weave into daily life.

Event Topic: Winter Tales Storyteller Series - February 9 to March 16, 2025

The Winter Tales Storyteller Series invited us into a shared circle of wonder, where the lingering chill of winter became a backdrop for connection. Each week, we gathered to hear stories woven from a tapestry of global traditions—tales that carried warmth, wisdom, and the spirit of the season.

Participants embraced the opportunity to uncover unique cultural treasures and reflect on the beauty of winter through diverse voices.

Over six Sundays, we journeyed together through these tales, honoring the sacred art of storytelling across continents and generations.

February 9 - Katharina Sebert (Germany) - The Story of Jumping Mouse
February 16 - Dale Allen (USA) - The Selkie Woman
February 23 – Ama Diya Dannu, MA, MEd (USA) - The Eternal Return
March 2 - Rev. Joy Reichard MA (USA) - Inanna, Queen of Heaven and Earth
March 9 - Alejandra Yustas (Uruguay/Argentina) - Legend of the Ceibo
March 16 - Adair Heitmann (USA) - Love Through the Tides of Time: The Ebb and Flow of the Sacred Feminine
