The Matrix Convener leads GTW with collaboration, compassion, and consistency, nurturing GTW’s vision, chairing Circles, ensuring legal documentation, authorizing expenses, and fulfilling chief executive duties as outlined by the Convener Circle.

The Treasurer Convener manages GTW’s cash flow, processes reimbursements and claims, authorizes transactions, prepares financial reports, ensures timely document filings, and supports strategic decisions through clear financial insight. The role also maintains accurate records, monitors budget activity, and may oversee fundraising as a complementary component of GTW’s financial stewardship.

The Secretary Convener oversees GTW’s corporate communications and records, collaborates with the Matrix Convener to create agendas, maintains minutes, manages meeting notifications and follow‑up actions, addresses official communications, and keeps organizational contact information updated. The role ensures GTW’s governance documents, communications, and meeting processes remain clear, accurate, and well‑organized.

The Circle Liaison Convener is a liaison between the Conveners and the Circles of Gather the Women. She develops relationships with the circle hosts and participates in their trainings and Circles. Hosts, and women in the Circles, are encouraged to give feedback to the Circle Liaison Convener regarding their circle experiences.

The purpose is to create clear lines of communication directly between the Circles and the Conveners.

The Communications and Marketing Convener oversees GTW’s social media presence, Zoom technology, and newsletter communications, and serves as GTW’s webmistress. This role includes creating graphics and written content, designing and arranging materials for visual clarity and aesthetic harmony, and ensuring that both the website and newsletter reflect GTW’s values, voice, and beauty. The Convener manages updates across all platforms, curates information for public-facing communications, and supports the organization’s digital cohesion and storytelling.

The USA Circle Convener welcomes women in the United States into Gather the Women, offering information about our virtual Circles and how to join them. The Convener also supports women in finding local Circles or, if none are nearby, in beginning a Circle of their own. This role may also include coordinating and facilitating monthly orientation sessions to help new women feel grounded, informed, and connected as they enter the GTW community.

The International Convener welcomes our international Sisters and helps them find local circles across the globe. This Convener is also responsible for being the liaison between leaders and fire tenders internationally and supports women who want to start Circles in their area.

The Arwen Convener supports the Conveners Circle and GTWGM by providing technical expertise when needed, anchoring clarity by illuminating co-creative collaboration and bridging perspectives through observation and deep listening. The Arwen assists the stability of the Conveners Circle to navigate transitions, possibilities, and emerging directions with grace, in alignment with our mission, vision and values.
